5 days 4 nights in Georgia II

Day 1. Arrival day.

Transfer from Tbilisi International Airport to Hotel (21:45) Dinner at local Restaurant and Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 2. Tbilisi/Ananuri/Gudauri/Kazbegi/Dariali/Tbilisi

After breakfast drive to Khazbegi, on the way to Khazbegi we`ll visit Ananuri castle and Jinvali Water reservoir. Here you can enjoy the amazing beauty of the nature. From Khazbegy leisurely 1.5 hour walk up through beautiful walleyes leads us to Gergety Trinity Cathedral which is located at 2170 m. (Option drive there by 4X4 cars. Aprox. 10 USD per person). Afterwards drive to Dariali Gorge, which is known by its amazing beauty. Drive back to Tbilisi. Dinner with life ethno music and dances and Overnight at Tbilisi hotel.

Day 3. Gombori/ Shuamta/Iyaltho/Telavi/Kvareli/sighnaghi

After breakfast drive to Kakheti. Kakheti is the biggest region in Georgia and is worldwide known as a cradle of viticulture. Grape leftovers, discovered by the archaeologists, date back to the mentioned period and they are the oldest around the globe, that proves once again that Georgia is a homeland of vine. The way to Kakhety lies on the beautiful Gombori gorge. We will visit Iyalto Academy and Monastery (6 cc). Drive to Telavi. Dinner will take place with ethno elements with the traditions of Georgian bread baking, Churchkhela making, Mtsvadi roasting or Khinkali making, where you can taste different sorts of wine and compare with each other in preparing of most famous National Georgian dishes. Visit king`s palace in Telavi. Next destinations is small cozy, romantc town Sighnaghi-town of love, songs and carpets. Drive back to Tbilisi. Dinner at restaurant and overnight in Tbilisi hotel.

Day 4. Sighnaghi/Lagodekhi/Sighnaghi (walking day. 4-5 hours walking.)

After breakfast drive to Lagodekhi National Park. Lagodechi National Park is located on the southern slope of Eastern Caucasus in Kakheti and offers to tourists a hiking opportunity through its untouched natural ecosystems, with beautiful lakes and splendid waterfalls. The National Park is a home to many endemic species of flora and fauna, including rare plant species such as Mlokosevich's beautiful peony flower (Paeonia mlokosiewiczi), Lagodekhi's peony (P. lagodechiana), Primula juliae, Gymnospermium smirnowi). The Park also presents a shelter for Brown Bear, wolf, lynx, chamois, roe deer, red deer, East Caucasian goat and wild boar, as well as a variety of birds such as lammergeyer, golden eagle, peregrine falcon and Caucasian snowcock. Among the amphibians there is the endemic Caucasian parsley frog. Lunch will be offered as a picnic in the Park. Afterwards drive back to Sighnaghi and Overnight.

Day 5. Sighnaghi/Davit Gareja/Tbilisi

After breakfast drive to Tbilisi, on the way to Tbilisi visit David Gareji cave complex, located in a stark, semi-desert landscape. This monastery was founded in 6th century by one of the Syrian fathers David and till now receives lots of tourists because of location, beauty, miracles, and legends. Lunch in Tbilisi. Short tour in Tbilisi, Market, Free time and transfer to airport. Departure at 22:15
